We recognize that some students may want or need to pursue employment or volunteer work during their time at Stanford. Students are encouraged to consider their academic workload and social engagement opportunities -- you'll already have a full plate without employment!

Additionally, residential students are required to get approval from Summer Session staff when leaving campus, even for a short while and including for an off-campus job. Residential students must also get a permission form if traveling over 40 miles away. 

Finally, residential high school students have a curfew check-in every night and must be in the dorm 12am-7am. These measures help us ensure we can locate our students in times of concern or emergency.

Should you meet these and other published policies, you may have a job during Summer Session!
