If you receive an offer of admission from Summer Session, please submit the required documentation to your Application Status Page as early as possible as it may take some time to obtain certain documents. In addition to accepting the offer, you will need to provide the following to secure your spot in the program:

Program Policies Acknowledgement |
Review and acknowledge all important program policies, including Summer Session Program Handbook, Stanford's Fundamental Standards and Honor Code, Residential Agreement, and Health Requirements. |
Medical Information |
Acknowledge Cardinal Care Health Insurance Enrollment and option to waive with an existing eligible insurance. |
Emergency Contact Information | Provide your emergency contact information. |
Acknowledgement of access to OAE services |
Acknowledge optional services provided by the Office of Accessible Education. |
Copy of passport (International students only) |
Submit a copy of your valid passport. |
Student Profile | This information helps us get to know you better. |
T-Shirt Size | All students receive a t-shirt at the time of mandatory check-in. |
Non-refundable Program Fee Payment | Submitting payment for the Program Fee confirms your spot in the program. |
Non-refundable I-20 Processing Fee Payment | The I-20 Fee covers the cost of processing and generating international students' I-20s. |
PLEASE NOTE: After completing the acceptance process, there will be a list of Pre-Arrival Items (health requirements, health insurance, course enrollment, etc.) that students must complete before the start of the program. More information about Pre-Arrival Items will be shared with students via email after the acceptance process has been completed. Please continue to monitor your email for important information from the Summer Session Office.

Medical Information & Proof of Insurance |
Acknowledge Cardinal Care Health Insurance Enrollment and option to waive. Provide medical information including medications currently being administered. If available, provide current insurance coverage information. This information is for Summer Session reference only and is not for waiving Cardinal Care. There will be a separate process to waive Cardinal Care after your spot in the program is secured. |
Emergency Contact Information | Provide emergency contact information. |
Local Contact (Commuter only) | Commuters are expected to live within 50-mile radius of campus. Summer Session will verify local contact to ensure students are staying within commuting distance with a trusted friend or family member who is over 18 years of age. |

When your admission decision is available, you'll receive an email notifying you to log in to your application portal to view your admission decision.
If admitted to the program, you will need to reply to your offer of admission, complete all required forms, and pay the non-refundable program fee to secure your spot in the program.
Your spot in the program is not secured until all required forms and information have been submitted AND the non-refundable program fee is paid by the given deadline. The acceptance deadline can be viewed in your Application Status Page.
We highly recommend carefully reading through the Summer Session Handbook to learn more about important requirements, expectations, and services open to visiting students.
