Can high school students have overnight guests?

All Summer Session high school students must sleep in their assigned room overnight every night.
▶ No overnight guests are permitted in Summer Session high school student designated residences. Parents and legal guardians are not allowed to stay overnight in the residence. High school students in Summer Session are expected to remain at the program through July 7, 2023. After that, overnight visits to family or friends off campus must be cleared in advance and in writing by the Summer Session office.

Permission forms with parental signatures are required for each trip where the Summer Session high school residential student is staying overnight off-campus, traveling over 40 miles from campus, or riding in private vehicles. Signed forms from a parent or legal guardian must be submitted to the Summer Session office two business days in advance of the travel date (e.g., Thursday if leaving for a weekend night, Monday if leaving Wednesday night).
