Students who apply and are accepted into the program will be issued a Stanford ID number starting in February. Students who've been given a Stanford ID number can enroll in courses through the Stanford Axess portal when course registration opens for Summer Session. Course registration for the 2026 Summer Quarter will open on Monday, April 6, 2026.
Enrollment in courses is on a first-come, first-served basis, and our office cannot guarantee enrollment in any one specific course, especially as some courses do fill immediately after enrollment opens. We recommend students approach course selection with an open mind and use this as an opportunity to explore a new area or discover a new interest.
*Please note that Stanford-sponsored I-20 students and undergraduate and high school students who live on campus will need to enroll in a minimum of 8 units
