Students with a Stanford sponsored I-20 must maintain enrollment in a minimum of 8 units throughout the summer quarter (June 20, 2026 - August 16, 2026) .
All international students who do not have a study-eligible visa are required to obtain an F-1 student visa in order to participate in the Stanford Summer Session program.
Students on an F-1 visa are required to be enrolled full-time to maintain their visa status. During the summer, 8 units is considered full-time.
