|---|---|
| Awaiting Submission | An application has been started, but not completed, or the application fee has not been received. The applicant still needs to complete, review, and submit all components of the application, including the application fee. Once the application fee is received, the application will be sent to the admissions committee. |
| Awaiting Decision | The application has been submitted and currently under review by the admissions committee. An admission decision will be available in the applicant’s Application Portal on the decision release date. |
| Awaiting Response from Student | The application has been submitted, but the admissions committee needs additional information or clarification to review it. Our office has reached out to the student via email. Once the student responds with the requested information, the application status will return to the “Awaiting Decision.” |
| Decided | An admission decision is now ready to be viewed in the applicant’s Application Portal. If admitted to the program, the student must reply to the offer of admission to move into the next status. |
| Awaiting Acceptance Completion | The student has accepted their offer of admission, but has not yet completed all of their acceptance forms. In order to move into the next status and secure their spot in the program, all acceptance forms must be completed and program fee payment received by the acceptance deadline. |
| Acceptance Completed | The student’s spot in the program is secured. The Summer Session office is preparing their Stanford ID number. Stanford ID numbers are emailed to students starting mid-February. |
| Confirmed with ID | Their Stanford ID number has been emailed to them. The Application and Admission phases of the student journey is complete, and the student can prepare for the Registration and Enrollment phases. |
